Have Questions?

Where should I fly into?

Please fly into Charleston International Airport (CHS). For our Cleveland-area guests, there are also direct flights available from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK).

Where should I stay?

We've included our recommended hotels in the Travel section of our website, but there are many other wonderful options to choose from throughout downtown Charleston.

What should I wear?

Welcome Drinks — Casual Cocktail
Think polished but relaxed. Cocktail dresses, dressy separates, jumpsuits, and trousers or chinos with a button-down are all great options. Charleston in May can be warm, so lightweight fabrics are encouraged!

Wedding Day — Formal
We'd love for everyone to dress up for the big day! Floor-length dresses, formal cocktail dresses, suits, and tuxedos are all appropriate.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 PM. This will give you plenty of time to park or arrive by rideshare, find your seat, and get settled before the ceremony begins.

Where should I park?

There are a limited number of metered parking spaces near the rear entrance of The Gadsden House (33 Alexander Street) and all city-owned meters and parking lots are free on Sunday. The Gaillard Garage across the street from the back lot ($3/hour fee) is another great option.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both! The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, with cocktail hour moving indoors to allow guests to enjoy the historic beauty of The Gadsden House.

Do I have a plus-one?

Your invitation will indicate whether a plus-one is included. If your invitation includes a plus-one, please include their name when you RSVP.

Are kids invited?

As much as we love your little ones, we're keeping our wedding celebration adults-only. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!

When should I RSVP?

Formal invitations will be mailed out in March 2027. RSVP will become available on the website once formal invitations are sent.

Please be sure to RSVP even if you are unable to attend, as this helps us finalize our plans, including catering deadlines.
